He takes leadership roles. While at the University of Waterloo, Michael was a leader in student government, from Vice President Finance for the Engineering Society to President and CEO of the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association.

His professional experience has provided insight into manufacturing and supply chains. Michael has a strong desire for Canada to strengthen trade relations with nations around the world and is ready to make a difference.

Michael is a leader and ready to do the work to represent Burlington. He is determined to address the rising cost of living for all Canadians and will champion Canadian workers. Michael is proud to have the opportunity to run with the NDP and to represent Burlington as their federal representative.
